Most healthy adults can use Bye Acne Light Therapy device. However, there are some contraindications: the device is not recommended for those who are under the age of 18, are subject to seizures or photosensitivity, have active cancer, or have a known allergy to plastics. Do not use the device if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. It has not been tested on pregnant or breast-feeding women, and therefore the risk to the fetus, neonate, or pregnant women is unknown. Do not use if you have Fitzpatrick Skin Type V or VI. You may clean the device using a damp cloth, water-based wipe, or a 70% alcohol-based wipe. Ensure the device is not connected to the power supply when cleaning. Do not submerge in water or apply water directly to the device.
